FROM OUR FARM TO YOUR TABLE
Produce As Nature Intended

Time to move from Summer to Fall/Spring
Eggs Available Year Round
As we move from summer to fall, the tradition at 5 Dog Farms is to let the soil and the "farmers' rest and take time to enjoy our other favorite "thing". Boondocking in the great outdoors.

This year we enjoyed a two week adventure in the great outdoors. Just to embed ourselves in God's creation and the quiet song of nature is something we cherish. This year we checked the McGruder Corridor off the bucket list. 100 miles of rough road that started in Darby, Montana and took us to Elk City,, Idaho. We spent most of our time in dispersed off the road camping in Montana. The other new adventure Gary and I started was Kayaking. When we camp, there is typically water close. We went to Lake Havasu in October and enjoyed the warm weather and water activities.

Our plan was to plant a winter crop but we had to refocus on rebuilding our raised beds. After 12 years of use, the cedar wood was deteriorating and in need of replacing. So we opted to rebuild rather than plant.
What we have available during the winter months are:
- Fresh Farm Eggs (year round)
- Myers Lemons

In late January we will start by growing our plants from seed. They typically will go into the ground around April/May.
